The new PRI-CBC partnership means that in addition to "WireTap," your lineup can now include "Q," a lively, daily exploration of culture and entertainment with Jian Ghomeshi, and "As It Happens," the CBC's celebrated nightly news and information interview program with Carol Off. Audition and enjoy their unique perspectives and cultural insights.

Grand success at WEAA

Five stations are piloting community engagement projects in partnership with "The Takeaway." Supported by CPB and the National Center for Media Engagement, the projects are as varied as the stations that are conducting them.

As the second pilot year of community engagement wraps up at WEAA/Baltimore, the station's News and Public Affairs Director Kortni Alston-Clarke talks passionately about their continued success in expanding and strengthening connections communitywide. Read on.

There, they explore issues big and small, and hear perspectives old and new -- all to better understand the histories, cultures and global connections that shaped the past and influence the future.
